Judging the nominees were Sky Sports F1 pitlane reporter Ted Kravitz, Team GB Marketing Strategist Claudia Mestre and Spotify Entertainment CEO, EMEA, Mags Zielinska-Banks, with James Coker hosting the ceremony.
The award ties up a very successful 2023 for Pace Six Four. The year kicked off with a merger between Ben Cowley's 64th & Social and James Robinson's PACE, bringing their respective digital, content and commercial operations under a single banner.
As the months progressed, Pace Six Four added several high-profile clients to its repertoire, including two Formula One teams and a leading endurance racing manufacturer, while deepening its relationship with existing clients.
The team covered a number of groundbreaking motorsport moments in 2023, including Jessica Hawkins' F1 test debut and Iron Dames' first WEC victory, alongside producing stunning video and graphic design content shared by global stars, managing a range of high profile social channels, delivering slick editorial pieces and offering lucrative commercial opportunities to clients.
Pace Six Four, which has grown consistently since its foundation in December 2018, has continued to expand over the past 12 months, with more than 40 team members now collaborating with clients in Formula 1, Formula 1 Academy, Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula E, Extreme E, IndyCar, NASCAR, WEC, GT racing, rallying and Esports.
"We are incredibly humbled to have received this award among such exceptional competition. Every member of the Pace Six Four team, both past and present, deserves enormous credit for their contribution to what we have achieved over the past year, which has undoubtedly been our most successful to date. We could not be more proud of the team we have assembled – not just as top class professionals, but as thoroughly decent human beings. Our thanks to The Race Media Awards for making the team feel so welcome and valued throughout the nomination process and especially at the awards ceremony itself."
"The size and stature of the other agencies nominated for this award makes the surprise and delight in receiving the prize all the better. As always, our success is testament to a brilliant team of people who live and breathe the work they do, and to our clients, whose business we never take for granted and who have helped shape our company over the past few years. As a specialist motorsport agency, prizes don't come much bigger than this, so thank you to The Race Media Awards for providing us with the best possible start to 2024!"
In addition to claiming the ‘International Agency of the Year’ award, two of Pace Six Four's clients also received nominations for content and campaigns delivered hand-in-hand with Pace Six Four team members.
Aston Martin F1 Team received a special mention during the ceremony, having been nominated for ‘Brand of the Year’, while Sauber Group [Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake] were shortlisted for both ‘Best Social Media Activation’ and ‘Best Streaming Event’.
