Account Manager

We’re looking for an Account Manager to help support a new function within Pace Six Four for its largest clients that span multiple disciplines such as Social Media, Content Production, PR & Comms, Graphic Design and Marketing Operations.  

You’ll be at the heart of some of the most exciting stories in modern-day motorsport, working alongside a talented group of colleagues to empower them to do what they do best – deliver optimised and high-level in-the-moment compelling content alongside engaging and exciting digital and physical campaigns and activations.  

Core Responsibilities:

These will include:

  • Leading assigned accounts daily, including management of multiple stakeholders and the delivery of concise and clear instructions to the internal team
  • Acting as a primary and responsive point of contact for the client alongside senior client team members to help facilitate strong working relationships with internal and external teams through positive leadership
  • Ability to confidently challenge a client’s viewpoint where relevant to ensure the best possible outcomes, coordinating with relevant company departments to achieve and succeed against strategic objectives
  • Coordinating workstreams across assigned accounts to ensure they are followed optimally – supporting the wider internal team in the creation and delivery of client-facing documents such as content briefs to agreed timelines
  • Maintaining a future-looking and longer-term overview of all client activities to ensure team members are adequately briefed and working on tasks well in advance of deadlines
  • Ensuring multi-department collaboration across all output and processes to ensure best practice  
  • Delivering regular client health reports to relevant members of the Management Team, focused on relevant Line Managers and the Head of Business Development
  • Contributing to the reporting conducted by the Marketing Operations Team to help highlight success and learnings on accounts
  • Collaboration with the Management Team to identify business opportunities from expanded services, one-off projects, or playing a role in supporting the Head of Business Development during annual upselling periods

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a relevant Account Management position, preferably in the sports industry
  • Proven track record of client servicing and in the building of strong interpersonal relationships with key stakeholders
  • Evidence of strong communication both internally and externally, combined with a positive can-do attitude
  • Experience of fast-paced work environments and the ability to problem-solve under pressure
  • High levels of organisation with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to present compellingly and encourage buy-in from clients with and on behalf of your client teams
  • Relevant and recent knowledge of key digital platforms including, but not limited to, major social media channels and website platforms
